To Band is a music-dance concert performed by twelve young people. Together, they construct onstage an utopian world in which everything is in constant flow. Sound and motion take on new forms, combine and then fall apart again...

Enter into our world. Leave everything you have at the door, including your expectations of dance and theatre, your ideas about music, your opinion about what is beautiful and what not. Come inside and listen. Listen to our sound, our music. Listen to us being together. This is our sound revolution.

Frascati produces successful youth theatre. Nicole Beutler, for example, created the extremely well-received PIECE (2011) and Alexandra Broeder the shocking RAVEN (2012). We have also co-produced and presented productions by Solid Ground Movement and Jong Rast. Our starting point is that young people from the city work together with professional theatre-makers, with a focus on learning from each other, inspiring one another and creating an artistic end product.

Choreographer Keren Levi (Israel, 1972) lives and works in Amsterdam. She is well-known for dance performances such as Territory (NL 2004, winner of the BNG award), Couple-Like with Ugo Dehaes (BE/NL 2006), Big Mouth (IL 2009) and Couple Like #2 (NL 2010, winner of a Zilveren Krekel award). About  her most recent creation The Dry Piece,  the Dutch daily de Volkskrant wrote: ‘Levi is subtle in her giving of meaning... The Dry Piece is a well composed, beautiful visual story.’ The piece will be presented at Frascati on December 6, 7 and 8, 2012.

Composer, musician and sound designer Tom Parkinson lives in London, but works in an international, interdisciplinary context. He has been working with Keren Levi since 2000. Alongside To Band, Parkinson is currently working with Ivgi&Greben / the National Dance Company of Korea, Sharon Smith (DE), Hendrik Lebon (BE) and with Bryony Kimmings (UK).He also makes commercial music for companies such as Nokia and McDonalds.
